2022 CHILDHOOD CANCER SURVIVOR GRADUATE BRAEDEN!

Meet Braeden. “Braeden was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in July 2019 when he was 14 years old (9 days before his 15th birthday). He missed the entire first semester of grade 10 due to his treatments. When he returned to school in Feb 2020 he attended classes for 6 weeks before school shut down due to the Pandemic. Braeden’s goal was to graduate with his friends in 2022. He took extra classes and worked hard in all his classes to achieve his goal. Braeden is graduating from JH Bruns Collegiate. He will begin working for a plumbing company this summer and wants to attend Red River to complete his Red Seal in Plumbing. Braeden, we are so proud of you. You have overcome so much at such a young age. You are our hero . We love you!”
